Over 11 original songs written and recorded by Akeley musician Rikk Roxx, with lead guitar and backup vocal aid from Walker's own Tim Gack on select tracks.

With songs varying from the waltz-style ballad "Audubon" to the party-it-up rocker "Jammin' at Moondance" there is such a variety packed into this CD everyone will like at least a few songs, if not all.

Akeley photographer Russell Bergstedt captures northwoods area sunrises, sunsets, winter, spring and fall colors in a breathtaking collection of over 250 high-quality digital images, all contained on the CD.

Using Internet Explorer, Netscape or other graphics-capable browsers at 800x600 display settings, the wonderous natural beauty of the northwoods comes alive on your desktop with this must-have collection.

The Park Project

In giving back to the community which inspired such music and images, the Northwoods Nights Enhanced CD will donate $1 from each purchase toward building a public playground in Akeley, Minnesota.

The park will be located between the swimming beach and the city campgrounds on 11th Crow Wing Lake, headwaters to the Crow Wing chain.  Equipment costs alone amount to nearly $14,000 for a modest play-area, but with your help we can get it built!

The Grand Vision

This CD, featuring a musician and photographer in Akeley, Minnesota, is dedicating it's charitable proceeds toward a public park in that quaint northwoods community.

The "grand vision" for the Northwoods Nights label is to work with artists from other northwoods communities in the future, with each featured community to recieve proceeds for public parks in that city.

Because of the limitless boundaries of using "Enhanced Features," we can feature local artists of varying fields- painters, sculptors, wood carvers, poets, photographers.. while aiding local musical talent in getting their own original music heard.
